Big Changes and Discounts!

We've got two big changes, and an exciting announcement at the end of this post, so read on!

As you may have noticed, there has been quite the hush-hush on the blog as we've been working on things behind the scenes here at Red Sea Photography.

First, we've completely revamped the website. Our old website wasn't working quite like we wanted, so we completely redid it. Don't worry, the web address is still www.redseaphotography.net, so you won't have to learn anything new.

Secondly, and this is probably more obvious to you, we've completely reorganized the blog design. We've got a better Archives and Categories system to help you navigate our site and find those old posts you were looking for. We've also got a convenient search bar located to the top right of the page, right above our Facebook Widget.

And now, the moment you've been waiting for...

To celebrate our revamped website and blog, we're offering a flat 35% discount off of any of our packages for sessions booked in the next four weeks!!! ^_^

However, keep in mind, booking a session doesn't mean the session must take place within the next four weeks. It just means that the date has been set and your deposit has been paid, unless other arrangements have been made.

Feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call (TOTALLY the coolest new addition ever!) with any questions or interests about photography you may have! :) We look forward to working with you!

Peace and Love,
Heather and Chris

Blog Redesigned

Hey everyone!

We here at Red Sea Photography have been working hard to roll out this updated new design. We're hoping that it will help make our blog more accessible to you, and we're always open to advice on how to make things easier for you.

First off, we updated the fonts so that they're easier to read. Sorry about getting overzealous with the fancy fonts before.

In other news, we've gone mobile! That's right, now you can access our blog right on your phone, so long as you have Internet access through your phone. If you're not sure, check to make sure that you have a data usage plan. We would hate to have you charged extra if that can be avoided. The web address is the same: redseaphotography.blogspot.com

We've included tabs to help you jump over to our website, to the blog homepage, and to our contact form. Eventually, as we roll out different fun features, we'll be able to add them and you'll see their links in the tabs at the top.

We've reorganized our archival system so that you can pick out the exact year and month to help you locate the exact post that you're looking for.

If you're not certain which post you're looking for, or if you simply want to browse through the posts, we're utilizing a "label" system. The list of labels is alphabetized for easy access, with the number of posts each label is attached to in parentheses. As a quick "Legend" of sorts:

If you're looking back at major things that happened at Red Sea Photography, click "Announcements".
If you're looking for a few shots from a photoshoot, click "Feature".
If you're looking for any posts with photos in them, click "Pictures".
If you're looking for a promotion, past or present, click "Promo" or "Promotions".

And lastly, if following blogs really isn't your thing, you forget to check back for updates, or we just don't update often enough for you, you can now sign up to have our blog updates emailed to you by entering your email in the "Follow By E-mail" box.

Till next time,
Chris, "The lighting guy"

Hello! :)

Welcome to Red Sea Photography's blog! I will be doing my best at keeping this updated, but I'm not usually too good at this blogging business. :P I'm working on finishing up my website- which I know I started back in January, but school took up more of my time than I had anticipated. BUT it should be done within the week! :) Anyways, I will be posting on this blog some teasers and updates from different shoots, special packages and random things I want to share with everyone.

I will update this with the websites URL when it's released, hopefully, later this week! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me via email or facebook! If you're interesting in seeing some of the shoots I've done so far, Red Sea Photography can be found on facebook at:: http://www.facebook.com/redseaphotography

Much Love!
